About This Plant:
Anubias Congensis is a larger Anubias variety with elegant, elongated leaves that grow upwards from a strong creeping rhizome. Its height and upright shape make it particularly suitable for adding structure to medium and larger aquariums.
It is best placed in a shaded or moderately lit area to help prevent algae from forming on its slow-growing leaves. Like all Anubias plants, the rhizome must not be buried, as this may cause it to rot.
For best results, attach the plant to bogwood, rocks or other aquarium decorations using thread, fishing line or aquarium-safe glue. The roots may also be placed into the substrate, provided that the thick rhizome remains completely exposed.
Suitable for:
-
Freshwater aquariums
-
Community fish tanks
-
Terrariums
-
Paludariums
Its thick, tough leaves are generally not eaten by most fish, making it a reliable choice for many community and planted aquariums.
