Pogostemon helferi is a compact foreground plant reaching approximately 5–10 cm in height and width. With medium to high lighting, nutrient-rich substrate, and optional CO₂ supplementation, it produces numerous side shoots that quickly develop roots, allowing the plant to spread into a dense, attractive carpet.

How to Plant In Vitro Plants

  1. Carefully remove the plant from the cup.
  2. Rinse away all nutrient gel under cool running water.
  3. Divide the plant into several small portions.
  4. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant each portion individually into the substrate, leaving a small gap between each clump.
  5. As the plants establish, they will spread by producing side shoots to create a lush foreground carpet.
