Homalomena is a hardy, beginner-friendly plant that is easy to care for. Its requirements are similar to other popular aquarium plants such as Anubias and Bucephalandra. This species is highly adaptable and thrives across a wide range of water conditions. Same as Anubias, Java ferns and Bucephalandras it can be grown in aquariums and highhumidity paludariums and vivariums
The rhizome should be attached to hardscape like wood or stone and left exposed—burying it may cause rot. It can be grown both submerged and emersed, making it versatile for different setups. Growth is slow and steady.
