Live Glassworms, also known as White Mosquito Larvae, are a highly nutritious live food ideal for a wide range of freshwater tropical and coldwater aquarium fish. Naturally rich in essential nutrients and vitamins, they are eagerly accepted by many fish species and are excellent for promoting healthy growth, conditioning, colouration, and natural feeding behaviour.

These active live larvae stimulate strong feeding responses, making them particularly effective for picky eaters, predatory fish, and fish being conditioned for breeding. Their movement in the water encourages instinctive hunting behaviour and provides enrichment for aquarium inhabitants.

Glassworms are the larvae of non-biting midges commonly found throughout Europe and are supplied conveniently pre-packed in water for freshness and ease of use.

Availability is generally reliable throughout most of the year, although seasonal temperature changes may occasionally affect supply during peak summer months.
