Betta Choice Compact Aquarium Heaters provide reliable thermostatically controlled heating for tropical aquariums. Available in six wattages from 25W to 300W, the range covers aquariums from approximately 5 litres up to 300 litres, allowing you to select the appropriate heater for your tank size.
Each heater features a built-in thermostat designed to maintain a stable aquarium temperature. The temperature can be manually adjusted between approximately 20–34°C, making the range suitable for a wide variety of tropical freshwater aquarium inhabitants.
The heater is fully submersible and double sealed for additional safety. An LED power indicator shows when the heating element is operating, while the temperature control is conveniently positioned at the top of the heater.

Please note: Heater requirements can vary depending on aquarium volume, room temperature, desired water temperature and heat loss. A larger or additional heater may be required in particularly cool rooms or unusually exposed aquariums.
How to use
Position the heater fully submerged in the aquarium, preferably where there is good water circulation from the filter. Set the required temperature using the controller at the top of the unit and allow the thermostat to regulate the water temperature automatically.
For best results, use a separate aquarium thermometer to check the actual water temperature.
Important safety information
Do not operate the heater out of water. Always switch the heater off before removing it from the aquarium and allow it time to cool before handling. J&K also recommends cleaning the heater monthly to help maintain efficient operation.
